      Old City

The idea of living where it all began is exciting in its own right. The William Penn statue sits proudly atop City Hall, but Old City is the land where he and the Quakers first settled. Think cobblestone streets, loads of charm, and some of the oldest 18th-century buildings in the country.

From Vine Street to Walnut Street and 7th Street to the Delaware River, Old City is home to historic attractions such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Betsy Ross House, and the National Constitution Center. You can also find Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited road in America! Being such a tourist attraction, you know Philadelphia is showing off only their best cuisine, shops, and entertainment here, too.   And be sure to visit one of the many art galleries and boutiques.

The real estate market here varies a great deal. That is because you can enjoy an affordable cozy condominium or an exquisite brownstone with original detail. Whatever your taste, Old City Philadelphia is a neighborhood you must explore.
